Hey Friends, I’m Keegan.

I’m a freelance writer, journalist, and film producer, covering topics in the environmental, travel, health + wellness, and entertainment industries.

I’m also the founder of The Backlot, a weekly film industry newsletter that shares experiences, resources, commentaries, and community from my experience working in the indie film industry.

I’m also a film producer working on documentary shorts, feature films, and commercial work. For this work, I currently work both freelance and as the production director and co-founder of Camp Five Films, an award-winning documentary and commercial film studio based in Bend, Oregon.
